True Healing Comes From the Inside Out…

 My hope is to share posts with you about the journey I have taken to reclaim my power and heal my body, mind and soul. I will include healing strategies related to the physical (nutrition, movement, stress and sleep), the mental (thought patterns including positivity and gratitude), the emotional (mindfulness, relationships and clearing any energy blocks) and the spiritual (service, sacred work and connection).

It has not always been an easy path but I am exactly where I am supposed to be…AND SO ARE YOU!

As you begin to live your own truth and awaken your heart remember to be kind to yourself – leave any and all judgment, shame or guilt behind and do your best to let your light shine!!

The more often we can find love and kindness for ourselves and each other the more connected we will feel to the world around us making it so much easier to heal both as an individual and for the collective!

I am so excited for the increased popularity of kale.  Years ago friends and family would look at me funny if I served a Kale Salad.  Today they love it, ask me for the recipe and go back for seconds.  This Curly Kale Salad is so easy to make that it has become a regular dish when I entertain.  I have also been known to eat this entire bowl myself! When my 11 year old son asked me today if he could make oat cookies I was thrilled.  Try keeping this version around when you are working on changing your kids tastes since they have a splash of vegan, non-dairy chocolate chips that help with the transition.  They can be used as a snack or a breakfast treat if coupled with some fresh fruit.
